Woohoooo Im a happy bunny
The wind was blowing the sun was shining. The wind was a bit gusty and changed direction a few times which made things interesting at times.
Was the first time back on the water after injury and a non windsurfing holiday so was eager to get on the water today.
The forcast for today was for a force 3-4 so rigged big kit and hit the water. Was on a off the plane for a couple of hours but then the wind filled in to a proper force 4 gusting 5. People started going out on smaller kit 7m ish sails I stuck with the 8.5 with a little extra downhaul and just hung on in the gusts.
Done some nice gybes and tacks, was really planning up into the eye of the wind on most of the tacks. Done some not so good gybes on one lent too far forward and got hit by a gust and done a superman impression glad I was wearing a boyancy aid cos I really landed in a heap.

Really enjoyed today good to be back on the water
3 stars plus 1 for a good first session back on the water
